Video cards
Rulon Oboevv, 2017-03-22 18:22:56

Does the computer see the video card if the drivers are not installed?

Put vidyuhu used to be custom.
The video adapter does not see it, they said that it does not see it without drivers. Is it so?

A video adapter is a video card. He doesn't have to see himself, he just is.
Your problem is called "the system cannot recognize the video card", so it uses standard VGA adapter drivers that can work with almost any video card, but with basic capabilities.
There is an option that the video card may be "broken", and this most likely cannot be solved, or the system cannot really determine it automatically, and you need to manually download the drivers and install the drivers from the manufacturer's website for your particular video card.

If the word "video adapter" (which is practically not used now, although it used to be used with might and main) is replaced by "Windows" - there will be a correct description of the problem. The system could not determine the installed hardware and uses a driver that must be suitable for all video cards. You need to download firewood from the manufacturer's website and install it.

If the video card does not have a driver, then, with a high chance, the video card will not be listed as a video adapter.
