With a Mac Mini, you need to be careful. There were series that can be more or less upgraded, and there were those where everything is tightly soldered into the motherboard. And it seems that the newer ones are worse than the older ones in this regard. You need to look for information on a specific model.
In general, IMHO, Mini is a surrogate for neither fish nor meat, merged money. Although hunting is worse than bondage usually :)
