Should a MacBook pro 2017 be dumb when playing 2k (2160p) H.265 video?
MacBook Pro 2017 core I7 2.8 GHz.
movie HEVC.HDR.DTS-HD size 90 GB, 2 hours.
Stupid in all players. Is there something wrong with the device or is this normal?

Let me be corrected, but this is "normal". There is no hardware decoding for HEVC, and the processor cannot cope with such a bitrate.
It's a pity that I deleted the video file, next time I'll try IINA.
I downloaded the Sony Camp 4K Demo (HEVC, AAC) and it works without problems (except for VLC), although the codec seems to be the same..
