Shared hosting on Linux. Full set up?
Hello!
As an "exercise" (and perhaps I will use it as a thesis) I would like to implement the concept of virtual Linux (I think, Debian7) hosting with a full cycle of service configuration (without billing).
Not necessarily step-by-step instructions - but subtle points in FTP configuration, Apache, MySQL, PHP (multiple versions) user resource allocation (grsecurity core?). To be fair, there is even a small budget to buy an inexpensive hosting panel. The question is still too extensive for me, and I'm afraid that I can not take into account a lot if I start setting up "on the fly".
I would be grateful for a book that discusses aspects of this kind of setup, or some other resources.

I have one friend, the admin of his small hosting since 2006... (although I may be wrong with the date, I have been working with him since 2006). I think a person will be able to advise personally, but be prepared to pay him a couple of hundred dollars. for your time.

Read about OpenStack , maybe this is what you need. If you have any questions, I will answer.
I am using Virtual Min.
I tweaked it a bit - connected nginx as a front-end for apache.
Virtualmin does the rest.
But it doesn't solve the problem of installing different PHP versions.
