Shadow trails in games and color distortion, what are the options?
In games, there are trails from shadows, and in applications where there is black or a shadow, a trail stretches when scrolling, I attached an example. Also, when watching some videos on YouTube, barely noticeable trails of rainbow colors stretch from objects or people, as if the colors are mixed. Not in every video, but quite often I notice it. After buying a new monitor SAMSUNG C24RG50FQI 23.5 144 Hz (4ms), I didn’t notice this on an old 75 Hz monitor and a resolution of 1280x1024. Is it possible that the video card does not pull the new monitor or there is a problem with the drivers. The monitor is connected via DP 1.2 (the monitor no longer supports) with HDMI 2.0 the problem is the same. The system itself and an example of the problem:
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H
Video card: Radeon RX 580 (8 GB) driver version (20.11.2)
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 , 3842 MHz
Memory: DIMM3: Samsung M378A1K43CB2-CTD 8GB DDR4-2666 (2 by 8GB)
PSU: Cougar STX 550W [CGR ST-550]
Hard Drive: Samsung SSD 860 EVO 500GB (500GB, SATA-III)
Monitor: SAMSUNG C24RG50FQI 23.5 144Hz(4ms)
Microsoft Windows 10 Home (license).
The computer was assembled less than a year ago, everything is new, except for the video card.
I'll leave a link to the video from YouTube, I don't know if it will be displayed.
