Setting up WireGuard server on ubuntu, do I need to open a port on MikroTik?

Hello, I installed Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS on my laptop and I'm trying to set up a WireGuard VPN server, but I'm having problems due to very poor knowledge in this area.

I have a MikroTik RB951G with a configured firewall behind my laptop, do I need to forward the same port on it as when setting up the VPN server WireGuard?
The laptop has a local IP address and an enp2s0f1 connection interface.
I did not find a manual for a similar situation.
Thanks in advance.

No, you don’t need to open anything for the vpn client, just access to the Internet.
upd. if you are configuring the server too - of course, you need to open the port from the outside.

Since you have a server, you need to forward the UDP port on which you run the server,
you can look at
netstat -lpn
