Server 2016. One provider has RDP, the other doesn't. Why? How to treat?
In short, there is a server on Windows Server 2016. NOT for NAT. Looks in the Internet directly. IP white. Not connected to my Home or Work network in any way.
From work I am connected on RDP - everything is OK.
From a home PC - Horseradish. Doesn't even ping.
But if you run TeamViewer \ AMMYY and keep it in the background, then a ping appears and RDP connects.
No, of course I can sit on the teamviewer, but the question is: Why?
What is this selective blocking? Maybe some protection on the server? Or providers "are not friends"?
UPD: there is a ping to the provider's router (where Server 2016 is connected) from any network, which means that the problem is exactly in the server settings.
