Sell an idea or implement?
Good afternoon.
Tell me how it would be better to try to implement the idea of a mobile application. In my thoughts, there are two options for the development of the event, launching in garage conditions, with tight finances, then going out to investors with a prototype. Or offer an existing company to add functionality. Only here again a number of questions arise, from the idea I want to get financial benefits. How is it possible to sell an idea to a company with subsequent profit for yourself. Has anyone implemented the second scheme?
Thank you.

Idea is nothing. The team that implements the idea and gets all the bumps on it is all.
the variant of the second scheme is interesting, is it viable?
I scored on all under-freelancers and write myself. I study, swear, I make mistakes, but I go to the goal. And that means that I was able not only to come up with an idea and its commercial implementation, but also after some time I will be able to create a product myself that I myself came up with. Profit.
Nobody pays for an idea. An idea without implementation is worth nothing.
don't get paid for an idea. you can get profit only if you find your place in this process. for example, you will be hired, or for a percentage of some deals that you conclude.
to do it yourself - you just need to understand if you can pull it. it really could be a minus million idea. and if there are no patents, again there is no guarantee that when they notice your project, they will not copy what is missing for themselves. They already have an audience, it's easier for them.
