Secondary monitor resolution?
I want to buy myself another monitor, my current one has a resolution of 1920 by 1080, but I want to buy a second one from 1920 by 1200. Both monitors are 24 inches. The question is whether it will be convenient to focus from the first to the second monitor, while one has more pixolization per square inch, and whether this will cause discomfort.
my current: BenQ XL2420TX
want: Dell UltraSharp U2412M

The most severe NO if the monitors are nearby. I tried this, for a couple of hours my eyes were in a wild state. I came to the conclusion that it is necessary to take 2 absolutely identical ones, moreover, from the same batch, and framed by one person. Tk. even different brightness is already an additional burden.
Depending on tasks.
I have very different monitors. On one browser and the main work with the PC, on the second - social networks: skype, icq, etc.
Doesn't stress at all.
If you want to stretch one picture \ text \ window, then you should not take it.
See how you place them. One below the other is perfect. If you plan a classic horizontal placement, then they should be approximately the same in height, otherwise you will break your eyes diagonally behind the mouse pointer, a fact.
You understand that one will be a little wider and lower, and the second narrower and taller?
In a double configuration, two identical ones are best.
I have a zoo of dell 27 vertically, viewsonic 22 horizontally and an old nec 20 vertically, there are no problems. Everyone has a different resolution.
I had the wrong question =)
I had to ask if it was possible to take the e-IPS matrix to the TN + film ... There is a huge difference, I turned the brightness / contrast, ips is much darker. Although I finally saw and understood what real black, white, gray and blue (red and green are the same) colors are. #000 the difference is just wild.
As for the resolution… I aligned it height and I have 120 additional pixels in the footer and I’m happy. I don't feel discomfort.
