Second HDD disconnects after laptop wakes up?

There is a laptop Lenovo T430, windows 10 on ssd and hdd wd500lplx-08zntto in adapter/pocket instead of dvd-rom.

After waking up from sleep, the hard drive in the adapter starts to accelerate, the indicator light blinks (red and blue) and turns off. After logging in, the HDD is not in Device Manager.

Power settings ("Turn off hard drive after 20 minutes") does not help.

What is important, the hard drive does not fall off every time, but in the vast majority of cases.
I tried it only once: reconnecting to a hot one - launches hdd.

The second ssd should have "settled" in this adapter, but with this behavior of hdd, I'm afraid this is not the best idea.

There is nothing worse than these plastic imperfections. Check if there is a switch on it. If there is, fix it securely in the middle position.
