Same satellite photos on Yandex.Maps and Google.Maps?

Does anyone know why Yandex.Maps and Google.Maps use the same satellite photos? (checked several major cities)
And why does Yandex have a green filter on images that kills the whole picture?

Because they don’t make them themselves, but buy from DigitalGlobe , moreover, from Yandex a year ago.

Yandex and Google buy maps from local suppliers, it is quite possible that they coincide in some places. Look at the bottom of the map, there is the name of the company that provided the map of the area.
