How to hide date from page index in google?
Good afternoon!
We have a large news site and on almost all pages there are a lot of announcements of texts with a title, photo, lead and publication date.
When a page is indexed, it turns out that the most frequent word on the page is September or Monday. I wrapped all the dates with the noindex tag and the situation in the Yandex index became wonderful. However, in Google webmaster, the picture is sad.
I assume that it will be correct if all the dates are in the time tag , will this fix the situation? or is there another way?

You can use jquery
But I would probably do this: I would wrap all the dates in a tag <a></a>
and give them the rel="nofollow" attribute
