RX570 Sapphire 8GB (Memory defective)?
Vidyahe week after purchase.
I've been testing it all week in AAA projects. Metro, Division 2, Resident 2 ..... etc .....
It worked!
But Everywhere video memory is loaded at 3 gigs out of 8 gigs.
This is not the norm When in RE2REMAKE a game that eats 12 gigs of video memory ... uses only 3 gigs of video memory 3 gigs of RAM and 16! ...................16 CARL! 16 gigs of swap file.
I read that if there is not enough video memory, the textures will be loaded on the swap file!
But only 3 gigabytes of video memory is occupied .... And so in all games. 3 out of 8! Do you understand? Of the 8 available, only 3 are used, despite the fact that an application is loaded that eats 12 gigs of video memory.
Well, I decided to disable the swap file! (HE BTW ON SSD)
What would use the video memory properly!
And after disabling the paging file, the video memory in the resident starts to fly to the top as it should be on a normal card, but when it reaches 4 gigs, it simply throws it out of the game with a texture loading error.
In the final benchmark, the same thing ... loads the memory up to 4 gigs and throws it out.
By the way, something very interesting was noticed .... It seems that in the Resident's settings it shows that there are 8 gigs, but only 4 are available. But this is subjective.
In general
1) When using video memory, it throws out when it reaches 4 gigs.
2) With the paging file, everything everywhere pulls on ultra but eats around 3 gigs, the rest goes to the paging file
3) if you disable the paging file, it throws it out when it reaches 4 gigabytes of video memory.
ALL FURMARKES PASS! IN GAMES WITH PAGE FILE WORKS! TEMPERATURE 50 degrees!
The dns service will probably send me to hell! They will drive you out at the furmark 5 times and say everything is fine.
What to do?
what is the reason?
Is it under warranty and how can I prove it?
In the service they drive on a computer with a swap file and give it back?

In general , the solution was found!
The problem is in the person between the computer and the chair.
Installed Windows 10.
Everything went off without a hitch.
But there is a nuance. From the very beginning, he was wrong.
Everything is so in MSI Afterbuner in the OSD, the allocated memory indicator is not a paging file,
I'm not sure, but I think it's RAM + GPOZU + PAGE.
In 10k in Rezik2 opera 6gig + video memory 6gb + swap 2gb ... And that shows the sensor 14 gigs ....
At first I beguiled, I thought it was a pure paging file, but no.
If you have DX12 enabled - it has a feature of using RAM to help the video, try switching to DX11.
And so if everything works fine - why bother him then?
Well, it's not surprising that with the necessary 12GB it crashes, the memory cannot allocate it, and it crashes, turn off the graphics so that it fits in 8GB, and it's better to leave a reserve of 512-1024MB
A very similar situation was, RX 580 4GB, which I plugged into the computer after the GTX 1060 3GB - when loading more than 3GB - the games crashed.
I just searched my computer, removed everything related to Nvidia and the problem disappeared.
You wrote that before there was a 4GB card - if from nvidia - try to erase all the old firewood just like I did.
