Macbook is dying?

Hello. The trouble happened to the laptop, so I ask the community for help.
Actually, there is a laptop: MacBook Pro, early 2011, 15 inches. The operating system is Mountain Lion (10.8.2). Problems began, as expected, quite unexpectedly.
Once I decided to make a hardware diagnostic, which can be done using the axis tools (in my case, this is a combination of command + D, if anyone is interested). After pressing this magic combination, the laptop abruptly lost in the displayed color palette. Diagnostics, however, carried out, shallow, but there were no problems.
But after that, it just started to go awry. Somehow I needed to restart my laptop, and already at the start of the boot, something terrible was happening: the initial screen with an apple became like 256-color (and at the same time, as if crossed out by a stream of thin horizontal white lines). Moreover, after this screen with an apple, a gray screen appears and ... Well, actually, nothing more. It hangs tight.
When this happened for the first time, I was able to select recovery hd by holding option (yes, I'm aware of command + R), in which I checked the disk with disk utility and corrected the access rights. After that, oddly enough, I was able to boot into the system normally, no color problems were observed.
When I needed to restart the computer again, I again encountered a 256-color start window and the inability to boot. Trying the old method to start recovery hd gave me a window completely covered in vertical bright blue lines.
What I tried:
1) Safe boot - after it the system was again stuck on a gray screen.
2) Reset NVRAM/PRAM.
3) Pulling out and chopping off all connected peripherals.
3) Entering recovery mode via command + R - oddly enough, now I managed to get there. Checking the hard disk with the utility did not reveal any problems.
Actually, I somehow managed to get into the system again. But such a problem is very annoying. I will be grateful for any help.

Judging by the data of the service, video failure is a fairly common situation for these models https://www.macmachine.ru/remont_ustrojstv_kompani...
It is treated by replacing the chip.
