Distribution of the Internet in a hotel?

Good afternoon. Tell me, what is the best way to distribute the Internet in a hotel? There is a wired connection of administrators' computers and WiFi for guests. At the moment, the main problem is that the bandwidth for users is not limited in any way. Those. one client with torrents can leave the entire hotel without an Internet. I would also like to be able to "VIP" connections - those given client will definitely receive a guaranteed speed, and the rest will have to "shrink". Well, monitoring functions would also not hurt.

If you need an out-of-the-box solution, then I advise you to look towards pfSense. It has all the above features.

As far as I know, now even the most primitive wifi points (like dir-300) have built-in firewalls, including those that can cut off the speed of each individual connection.
Another thing is that there is no normal logging there.

habrahabr.ru/post/60095/ has been working for me for many years, there are both “guaranteed” users and guest access with a minimum priority.
