Routers on dd-wrt, I have a question
Good evening!
A small question about the dd-wrt firmware.
There is a tp-link 941nd piece of hardware with dd-wrt installed (firmware build: 16214 ).
Regularly, once a day, sometimes more often, the vpn connection (pptp) breaks. The gap usually occurs when the load increases (a jump of 100Mbps). The provider has nothing to do with it. Namely, the jamb of the firmware, because if you raise vpn on a computer, it can hang for weeks. I didn't notice this on stock.
How can this be overcome?
Or maybe there is an open-wrt guru in the studio? Then maybe I would change the firmware, there are literally a couple of questions.

Guru, not a guru, but on 1043nd I installed openwrt, what questions?
By the way, if the stock is OK, why bother with wrt? Are any additional functions really used or just for fun?
I have ddwrt on dlink dir-320 in general, when talking on Skype for more than 15 minutes, the connection breaks ...
personally, I had big problems with the asus 520gu router ( pptp beeline ), the percentage was dying to the end, and it didn’t give out more than 6-7 Mbit / s, unfortunately pptp is very demanding on the processor, are you sure you don’t stick into the resources of the piece of iron itself?
