Reviews of old games?

Hello.
I really like to play old games that I have loved since childhood. Actually, I want to write a topic (s) with a review (s).
Will %username% be interested in reviews of ancient games (Stronghold, Age of Empires, etc.)?

Not quite of course reviews, still "finishing" for work in modern systems, extremely useful modifications, and so on.

I remember there was already such a failed topic. It-shniks gather on Habré, not gamers.

Well, if you write reviews, then with an eye to more modern analogues, let's say there is no such and such a feature generally accepted for strategies, there is such a non-standard one that has not stood the test of time.

It is better to write about developing open projects, including those developed from old games.
For example, there is Jagged Alliance 2 v1.13, which has been heavily reworked over the years since the code was opened and is now a completely unique game.
I don't think this is the only example.
There are many games that the community continues to develop (even in the absence of source code).
And just reviews of old games on the Internet and so there is no problem to find them.

I think it's worth adding a few technical details for each game. For example, the technologies used to create it, because it's interesting to see how games were made before and compare with how they do it now.

Anakros, as you can see, so many people, so many opinions. Do not ask, publish, and there it will become clear whether it was necessary or not :)

Why do we need a review of games that everyone already knows inside and out? And who does not know, is unlikely to start playing - the schoolchildren, as they say, do not understand.

Who needs reviews of old games? Reviews of worthy games can be found even on Wikipedia, but unworthy ones... It is
better to write reviews of some open-source games or free games from little-known developers.
