Replacing the on-board computer software of a car from the point of view of the law?

I have a car. There is a regular software that I do not like. For example the color scheme and features. I don't like restrictions.
Let's say I bought another software or made it myself (it doesn't matter), removed the software from the car and installed my own. I don't care about the warranty.
How does the law look from this point of view?
And, for example, if my friend liked this software and I installed it for him too, then everything is fine or is it impossible to do this?

your car, do what you want. Do you have someone to dig into the software???

It’s legal if you won’t install a broken Windows or a database with proprietary modules, but even if so, you still need to find out about this))

1. You have the full right to change any element of the car, if these changes do not concern the data in those. passport (type of fuel, number of passengers, etc.).
2. Of course you can.
Now, if you pass off the default software as your own and put it on your friends, then maybe someone will file a lawsuit against you.
The main thing is that you do everything de jure for free)
