Replacing mail.app for mac os x?

Recommend a replacement for mail.app, it works very slowly with large mailboxes (don't offer sparrow, I liked it, but it's only for gmail).

there is only one subtlety, if the mailbox is on mail.ru:
after installing and connecting the mailbox, go to the account settings, server settings, uncheck "leave copies on the server - no more than 14 days", check or just "leave copies on the server”, or “until I delete them”. It seems to me that the checkbox “leave copies of messages on the server” must be checked, but decide for yourself about its variation.
By default, after downloading emails from the server, thunderbird will delete them after 14 days, which is not very good for me.
So I had at least on Windows and for mail.ru, for gmail and yandex everything is fine.
I don’t know how it will be on MAC OS, but it’s worth checking.
