How is it generally recommended to remove programs from OS X so that they wipe their folders behind them?
I can’t understand, even on the official websites of some programs it’s recommended to simply put the package in the trash, for example, on the Parallels website, and the programs don’t uninstall garbage after themselves at all. Please explain to a person how generally experienced people act? Thank you.

Some software also comes with an uninstaller (for example, Avast antivirus, or Little Snitch).
But mostly people use special utilities that clean up everything superfluous. The best thing I've seen is CleanMyMac.
I have MacKeeper for all occasions. The utility is paid and now, probably, expensive. But I bought it a long time ago and this year it cost a little over 2 thousand a year. Does everything you need, plus a bunch of bonuses. I didn’t like CleanMyMac, though I don’t remember why
I have been using AppCleaner for 7 years already. So far it hasn't let me down.
I have iTrash and UninstallPKG. UninstallPKG cleans correctly and drastically after batch .pkg installations, highly recommended.
