View the specs for your existing cooler and compare the allowed thermal output with the thermal output of the new processor if the processor does not come with a cooler. Perhaps there is a standard universal one - then everything will be fine, if there is a cooler designed specifically for the current processor, then it should be replaced with a suitable one.
