Remote work in a foreign company - what are the pitfalls?

I am a 3rd year student at the university. Looking through vacancies on linkedin. Questions arose: if everything is clear with the requirements (bachelor's degree, hard skills, communication skills), then how is the issue with the very possibility of remote work now? Do they hire developers located in the Russian Federation, are they paid in foreign currency, how is the salary transferred?

I work remotely, I receive in foreign currency, everything is ok. If the company is competent, then even in the current situation (so far) all problems can be solved. Only those banks that have fallen under sanctions have problems with obtaining foreign currency, everything works in other banks. Of course, people from the Russian Federation are now being hired much less because of the risks (it is clear what I hope), but in general they are still being offered - since the beginning of March I have received 2-3 offers, of which one is worthy (no worse than mine now).
As they say, knock - and they will open for you, the road will be mastered by the walking one, and so on and so forth. Do not listen to anyone, the whole world is full of both idiots and quite adequate people who will treat you normally, regardless of nationality.
How does the salary transfer work?
Most often, it is difficult to get hired by a foreign company, so an individual entrepreneur is opened and a contract for the services of a consultant is concluded. In the bank, you create a currency transaction, attach a contract there (as a basis for receiving money). Then, once in the accounting period (month), you issue an invoice to your company, in which you write down the amount specified in the contract, send this invoice to the company and to the bank. The company sends money, they usually go for several days, when they reach you - you receive a notification from the bank that the currency has fallen into your transit account. This is where currency control begins - specially trained people look at your contract, invoice (account) and transfer, if everything matches - you get your currency (with the new rules, 80% immediately turn into rubles). Does not match - they write what is missing, the company makes additional documents, send them to the bank, everything works out.
As an individual entrepreneur, you will have to pay taxes yourself. Fortunately, now most banks provide accounting services - they themselves calculate how much money you have to pay, they pay themselves - you only need an electronic signature and consent.
PS According to the simplification, IP pays 6% tax + 1% for amounts over 300,000 rubles (there are other mandatory contributions, but they are deductible if everything is paid on time, so it still comes out 6%). In the Russian Federation, in the payroll of civilian employees, deductions account for more than 30%.

Nobody likes this fact, but the chance to get a job in a foreign company on your own initiative is extremely small. If this is a real foreign company, and not a startup of three Belarusians working in Vietnam. Most of those who work in foreign companies did not send a resume to her, but responded to the recruiter's invitation. To attract the attention of foreign recruiters, you must first grow to the senior level, working in companies in your home country. Or be a brilliant student who gets noticed and shunted through the pulpit.

Well, there is another option to contact a local team that works for a foreign company.
It doesn't have to be Google, Microsoft or Facebook.
But I personally know several teams that emerged 15-25 years ago and continue to work for a Western customer even now.
As far as I understand, in Russia they live as an LLC or an individual entrepreneur. Sometimes they take orders within the country. The issues of BP conversion in such teams have been resolved. If you come, they will tell you what, where and how.
Periodically, they hire juniors or QA.
And they, too, when recruiting, rely on their connections in local universities.
