Regshot 1.9.0 is slow and freezes on Windows 10 version 1803. How to solve?

I use the Regshot utility to find registry tweaks. The program worked well on Winodws 7, 8.1, 10 LTSB (1607). But when I decided to work with the latest Windows 10 version 1803, I got a problem. The first registry snapshot takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. The second shot takes even longer. Sometimes the program may freeze. The number of registry keys and values (as shown by Regshot) in version 1803 is about the same as in previous versions (~300000 keys, ~600000 values), they are just processed 10 times slower. So, for example, in Windows 7, processing a snapshot takes 5 seconds, and in Winodws 10 LTSB (1607) it takes a little longer - about 30 seconds.
Who also uses the Regshot utility and has encountered a similar problem? What are the solutions?

@Evgenym

If RegShot is valuable, then I would try to see what is happening with ProcessMonitor. If it is not particularly valuable, then I would take another analogue that works faster.
I liked the utility from NirSoft RegFromApp
Check out their RegistryChangesView
