Recover data on HDD if formatted HFS + by changing the partition table?
I know it's bullshit.
But that's how it happened. When choosing how to format the screw, I made a mistake with the choice and because I was in a hurry, without checking the format. And when I realized it was too late.
And so, on a computer under macOS, there is an external 1TB screw, it had working information, it was formatted with the GUID partition table and the HFS + file system, and instead it was formatted with the Apple partition table and the HFS + file system.
R-Studio found a bunch of incomprehensible nonsense, now I'm scanning UFS Explorer.
But then the thought crept into his head that he would not find anything either and that in order to restore, you need to format it again, but with the partition table that was before.
People who know this topic, tell me, does it make sense to take a chance or not?
Naturally, I didn’t write anything to the screw, because I realized the stupidity of the situation even at that moment when the formatting was not completed.

R-Studio is the best option, just don't try to write anything to this disk, there are still options to restore the information.
