Recommend DAS/NAS for backup

Advise, please, a piece of iron of family DAS/NAS.

It is necessary to provide a one-time backup of ~1TB of virtual machines from the server. Subsequently, periodic changes in the flooded images.
Hardware requirements: 2*2Tb RAID1. It is desirable to support FireWire to increase the upload speed.
It will connect directly to the server. Network interfaces are not needed.

NAS without network interfaces is strong.
If NAS, then I would look towards the Iomega StorCenter ix2, there is support for CIFS, FTP, NFS and iSCSI.
If DAS, then WD My Book Studio Edition II.

for such a price, you probably only have 2 screws inside this server on soft-raid (for portability)
