Recommend a video recorder (again)

Hello! In early January, I created a question asking for advice on a DVR.

Most likely, most of the Habr audience has not yet departed from the new year, so no recommendations have been received. Since my birthday is coming soon, I still decided to make myself happy with this magical device. So, the content of my question:

I decided to get a DVR, so I ask for advice. I know that there were several reviews on Habré, but times are changing, so something new may have appeared. I will buy in some Chinese online store, because there is no desire to overpay for a beautiful logo.

Of the main requirements:
1. Very high quality video (numbers of cars should be as readable as possible).
2. Maximum automation (for example, so that you can set up automatic recording if the device is plugged into the cigarette lighter).
3. It would be great if there was NOT a built-in battery.
4. Not a very small screen.
5. Price FROM 70-80 dollars (so that there is no crap).
6. No restrictions on the length of the video file + the ability to set up cyclic overwriting to a memory card with video cutting.
7. Must work well at night.

I will be glad to advice!

Buy F500L (you just need to know which firmware to take, you can run into a very nasty version).
In terms of video quality, it will be completely similar to all karkams and dods (they are all made at the same factory and have the same percent-matrix-optics).
Don't chase dods. F500L and DOD F500LHD are absolutely the same devices, they differ only in the logo (I have F500, I flashed it with DOD firmware without any problems).
As an option, you can look at Karkam Q2 (it differs from the F500L in larger internal memory and advanced firmware), more about the differences here - question #20.

The problem with the cigarette lighter is easily solved by splitters (I did it myself).
So my advice is Karkam Q2 or F500L (also known as DX F500L).
F500L can be purchased for $100.
I would not recommend the F900 (QX2 frames) as a registrar - there are too many extra moving parts. But if you really want to, you can take DOD F900LHD for about $120.
If you can't find where to buy - contact me in a personal, I'll tell you.
Yes, you can still take the Mystery MDR 800 (we have 3999 in the media market in Kazan) - if you choose the right version, it will be another device of the F500 family. Flashable with DOD firmware without any problems.

Pay attention to DOD F900LHD, but beware of fakes.

I use q4 lite cards - from the above, it has everything, except that the battery is built-in.
I also tested Neoline Mobile-i FullHD - nothing like that either.

Thanks everyone for the advice.
Found 2 models on dealextreme:
Analog DOD F900LHD: www.dealextreme.com/p/12-0mp-cmos-1080p-full-hd-digital-car-dvr-camcorder-w-wide-angle-hdmi-tv-out- sd-2-5-lcd-47859
& F500L: www.dealextreme.com/p/f500l-mini-full-hd-1080p-portable-dvr-car-camcorder-wide-angle-hdmi-tv-out-sd- 2-0-lcd-64009
The first price is not much different from the Amazon one, so I would venture to suggest that this is not a fake, especially since the reviews are good.
Has anyone bought any of these models from dealextreme.com? Can you say something good or bad?

4. Before Barracuda, there was another DVR with a radar detector. I got it in November 2013. I didn’t catch Strelka, but I put up with it. However, he did not please me for long - until the first frost. At a temperature of -10, it began to work only after the car warmed up. And one fine day, at -20, even warming up the car did not help, I took it to the store where I bought it - they said it was not a warranty case. The result is 7000 rubles. to the dump. At the end of January 2014 has already acquired Barracuda. I like it crazy - it picks up all the radars, there is a GPS module and a GPS tracking function - data on the speed and direction of movement are saved. And most importantly, it worked flawlessly all winter, even though the frosts were down to -30. In general, I advise everyone, an excellent device.

I use Trandvision TDR-200 myself , there were no problems in my work. It cost a little more than 5k, but in terms of characteristics it is not inferior to more expensive ones.

My husband has a LEXAND LR15 in the car, he is very pleased with it. I gave it to him for an anniversary, I chose for a long time)) Even though I don’t understand too much, I see that his shooting quality is superb.
