How to transmit USB signal through WIFI?

There is a webcam working via USB located at a distance of about 100 meters from the server. The task is to transmit the signal from this webcam to the server with minimal delay (less than a second). I came across usb extender 2.0 but it works via ethernet, so the question is, if you make a bunch of webcamera -> usb extender -> wifi router, then as I understand it, there will be a signal delay and not the fact that everything will work. Has anyone had a similar problem and how did you solve it?

It's easier to buy an IP camera.

It will be much easier and cheaper to use a network camera with a built-in WiFi adapter. This will cost you $50 or even less.
Encapsulating a USB protocol into an IP protocol will cost you significantly more (at least a hundred and fifty, probably). Most of the so-called Ethernet USB extenders do not use IP, they just use an Ethernet cable, as it is more suitable for data transmission over a long distance.

If the camera can send an MJPEG stream, then we take almost any router with USB and OpenWRT support, stick a camera into it, install mjpeg-streamer and take the stream via http. There will be a delay, but in a fraction of a second.
