Recommend a reader with an E-ink display
Hello.
Help me decide plz.
I want the simplest reader (without wi-fi \ 3G \ touch screen) with a diagonal of 5-6 E-ink inches. The most important indicator is reliability :)
I will read fb2. How pdf's are opened is not interesting.
I laid eyes on Pocketbook 360 - they write that their screen bursts.
P.S. searched - didn't find anything.

I have such a Pocketbook. I was afraid to take it after reading about their breaking screens. I ended up buying it and I'm completely satisfied. I don't see any problems. Convenient, easy to connect to a computer without any problems.
I recommend getting a Kindle. I recently read that Linux is there, and you can tune a lot of things.
+1 to the Kindle
tomorrow my should be brought, I'll check in the case
lbook v3 - more than 2 years of operation, survived several mountain expeditions. always in my backpack.
The screen bursts, but this is a common disease :( My Pocketbook 301 died like that, my friends 360 twice (though the first time they sat on it). E-ink screens are quite fragile, so get ready to be more careful :)
If it weren’t for reading fb2, I recommended Amazon Kindle (I'm going to take it myself), but for working with fb2, Pocketbook probably really has the best software.
Although in reality fb2 support is not the biggest problem. On flibust, everything that can be downloaded in fb2 can also be downloaded in mobi, and if you buy something somewhere, then it’s more like epub or pdf. Unless you have already downloaded a large library in fb2.
Any of the Onyx Boox .
I chose 2 weeks, sitting on various thematic sites. As a result, I have an A60, I am satisfied with it in every way and have already read it until the middle of the third volume of "War and Peace" :)
By the way, its screen is protected from breakage by a metal frame, so it's not too scary to break it, carrying it in a bag in the crowd.
Also PocketBook 360 - everything is fine. True, I haven't sat on it yet :)
At the same time I was holding a Kindle in my hands (didn't pay attention to which one - maybe not the last one!) - PocketBook seemed much more contrasting.
As a result, thanks to igolovin and Habazlam (SPS that instilled faith in me), I ordered the 360th.
A very interesting Inch Reader model, though with battery life it is not very good (something about 5 days), but the price is around 6 sput.
IMHO Kindle or Sony PRS-350. At the PocketBook 360 itself. It suits 100%, I've been using it for a year. But they are indeed very fragile.
I have a Pocketbook 301, I carry it with me everywhere, the case is already pretty worn out, I have had it even at -30 degrees. The device is 2 years old. And nothing, the screen is still alive. True, again, I did not sit directly on the book. But I leaned on it with my elbows several times, forgetting that it was in my bag. Such is the experience. Personally, Pocketbook'i inspire confidence in me.
