I download an iso image of any operating system on a PC. I format the flash drive using GPARTED in FAT32 format. Using the BalenaEtcher program, I write the iso image to a USB flash drive. I turn off the PC, boot the computer via a USB flash drive, and once again it gives me the error '' Reboot and and Select Proper Boot devise ...''. I went back to GParted, and I see this

Images known to require special treatment:
Microsoft Windows (use Windows USB/DVD Download Tool, Rufus, or WoeUSB).
Windows 10 IoT (use the Windows 10 IoT Core Dashboard)

dd if=path to image.iso of=/dev/sdX bs=1M
replace X with flash drive, in your example it is sd b

Is the flash drive alive?
