Read PayPass with Mifare reader?
The magnetic stripe on the cards can be considered as any reader adapted for this purpose, i.e. not necessarily banking. The second question is what is read there, but the data is not important, it is used to uniquely identify the card, which is enough.
Can ordinary Mifare readers (for example, from ACS) consider identification with PayPass/PayWave bank cards? If not, what is the difference between a standard Mifare reader and PayPass/PayWave, because is the standard the same?
