React native expo or Cordova?

I know JS and want to master mobile development for Android and iOS. As I understood the main options for Cordova and React native. Since I do not have MacOS, I can only use React native under ios with Expo. As a result, the Cordova Android application with this template weighs 3 MB and loads faster than the standard React native expo tabbed application (16 MB). Today I already decided to cast aside doubts and take up React native, but after the test, I was again full of doubts. What is the best way to go?
Thanks in advance.

I had a couple of projects on cardova and a decent amount on react, so I remember a lot of bad and swear words about cardova.
What should work from the box to the card or tupit or does not work at all. It's up to you, but the react native is the future.

I recommend Expo as a start to learning React Native. At least you won't have hemorrhoids with compilation.
The trick is that Expo is compiled with a bunch of native libraries, so you can focus purely on JS development.
In Cordova, you will have to install them as plugins.
Secondly - even in the case of Cordova - I'm not very sure that this template is suitable for normal development. A better look at the Ionic Framework is a more complete and mature set of components for mobile development. How long it will take - who knows :)
