Raid 5: resize partitions

Please help. There is a raid-5 array. You need to change the size of drive C at the expense of drive D.

What is the best and safest way to do this? Should the array be split?

OS: winserver 2003

There is no need to split the array; for the OS, the array looks like an ordinary disk.
Resizing a partition is not a standard procedure; it can be performed using third-party software, for example, Acronis® Disk Director® .
Of course, before this operation, make a backup copy in the amount of at least 2 pieces.

I do not remember if this is possible in 2003, but in 2008 R2 you can do this: convert the disk to dynamic->shrink disk D->expand disk C to the freed space. Everything is done from under Windows through the Disk Management snap-in.
