Can I add a drive to an existing RAID-5 array on Windows Server 2012 R2?

Given:
MS Windows Server 2012 R2
3 x 2Tb HDD SATA, from which RAID-5 is assembled using Windows tools. This array is distributed via iSCSI to a separate file server (also Windows Server 2012 R2).
Questions:
1. Is it possible to add one or more disks to this array without backing up data and rebuilding the array using Windows Server tools? Or third party tools?
2. Should iSCSI target be disabled? Will the data be erased and will the connection be restored later?
3. What are the requirements for adding disks? Should I use the same 2Tb or can I add a larger size?
Thanks a lot!

1) No.
2) Rebuild and reconnect.
3) It is possible and more, it's just that it will not be fully used.
In general, it's just interesting - what practical sense is there in creating a soft raid other than RAID1 (mirror)?
I just don’t see the point, I can’t even imagine what it might be needed for.
