Question about benefits, is everything correct?

Good afternoon, dear readers of this issue. It's probably completely ridiculous to ask such questions here, but I have nowhere to go, because the situation is hopeless. No one on other forums gave me the same answer. Maybe there are good lawyers out there...
The crux of the matter is this. I was laid off on December 16th. Now, the point is, I want my second month of unemployment. I called and asked what documents I would need for this. Everything is very smooth. But, when asked how long it would take for me to receive this salary, they made it clear to me that all this would take another two weeks. That is, I will receive compensation for the second month of unemployment in two weeks. The essence of the question is this, should they not immediately pay this salary, or are they doing everything right? Is it possible to speed them up somehow? Or is there something wrong here? I receive my second month's allowance on February 17th. Does that mean I have to wait another two weeks for this payment? Thank you for attention. Thank you for your help

They don’t owe 100% right away, so they can pay only by agreement of the parties and if you yourself wrote a letter of resignation
