Proxy - is it already used in practice?

Should I study junior? I read that it is still not possible to implement this technology in browsers and I'm not sure if a proxy is used at all. I do not want to kill in an empty 2 hours to study.
Enlighten: is it still relevant?
And a sub-question: is it useful in ReactJS?

I think it's not a font but drawn lettering, because fonts don't do that kind of 'e'.
And the letters "co" are roughly similar to MagistralC.

I'm sorry. Why two hours? The first couple of links from Google to read, well, 10 minutes will take a maximum. Or do you want to dig deep and memorize all the proxy stuff? Well, this is meaningless if it is not used in real work. It seems to me that it is enough to familiarize yourself superficially with the question in order to know in practice where to look in a suitable case. Otherwise, with your "monumental" approach, it will be very difficult in the modern frontend.
