Why do some characters mismatch during layout, although the downloaded font is the same as in the layout?

I made a layout from the Internet using adobe creative cloud, downloaded the specified font in google fonts, then I began to notice that some characters on the page are not the same as in the layout, although I repeat that the downloaded font is the same. Maybe it's because creative cloud selects fonts? Very annoying "W". Icons is an icon font.
