Proxmox backup server backup only selected files?

Good day !
there is a server with proxmox-backup-client installed on it.
I need to back up only selected files, for this I use a template file (.pxarexclude) in which I need to write what we exclude and what we include. The problem is that either everything is copied in general except what is needed, or what is needed + everything else.
I need to pick up some specific /etc/network/interfaces | /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf | /etc/default/isc-dhcp-server | /etc/network/if-preap.d/firewall
I've tried many options with different template file contents, made several template files in these directories, but nothing worked.
Here is a link to the official documentation, we are interested in this section Excluding files/folders from a backup
https://pbs.proxmox.com/docs/backup-client.html?hi...
By the way, I tried several commands with different archives, for example, interfaces.pxar firewall.pxar did not work either.
What should be the content of the .pxarexclude template file? and command proxmox-backup-client backup test.pxar:/etc/network/ or refer to root / ?
From the documentation, we can say that the implementation of this process is strange and something is not fully stated.
The question is very urgent!
Thank you!

@opium

See how exclusives work in vzdump they are made based on it
And so you have an obvious backup overhead, in your case it’s better to choose the same rsnapshot

oh i installed it too!
I need to back up a lot of files from the disk, but I still haven’t figured out how to do it correctly, the documentation is not very good .. until I stopped at the same place: proxmox-backup-client , and the server itself. from the client I launch the command to create a backup, everything comes to the server. I would like to know if backups can be archived? and how to manage it directly from the server? otherwise I’m thinking whether to add a command to cron for execution
