Properly positioning a closed MacbookPro on a vertical stand?

The photo shows an example of how I use a vertical stand to place a laptop on it, in an upright position with the lid closed. The apple is turned upside down. This is because the air vents on the MacbookPro 2017 are on the sides and back.

In promotional photos of all kinds of coasters, the apple is not upside down. The laptop is placed on the back side.
This partially closes the cooling slots.

There is of course the option of a docking station / stand with recharging, with the laptop located sideways.

But even in this case, one of the cooling slots is closed.
What I consider critical for MacbookPro 2017, because. it often gets hot. And it needs refrigeration.
Who uses a Macbook Pro on a vertical stand?
In what position do you put the laptop, for what reasons?
What about heating?

It's just an advertisement, bro.
It's done for beauty. This is not a recommendation for action.
But even in this case, one of the cooling slots is closed.
You yourself understand everything.

what's the difference that the slot is closed when off / sleep mode? Generally closed.
It still won’t become stronger than it was heated, even if it is closed at the moment of loading, for example.
Those. meaning zero in any particular position.

I spent only one week with a similar station (as in the first photo) and I didn’t like it at all. I didn’t even wonder how it was right, it’s just that the laptop heats up more when closed (the difference with which was about 15 degrees at the same loads) and I just felt sorry for the screen, I was afraid that it would not burn out). And so you have the right questions)) Of course, it’s definitely not worth blocking the slots for air intake or output! But there are also stations, as in the second photo, where there are even connectors inside, that is, just put the laptop in this way ... As a result, the air flow is blocked at one cooler (at 15k).
Therefore, I am generally an opponent of all these docking stations, I used only a stand beforeNew-Design-Hyvarwey-AP-1V-Aluminum-Alloy
But somehow over the years (I used to work with 2 external monitors) I got used to it and now I work without monitors at all and sometimes it seems 15k is a bit too much)
