Problem with Windows VPN connection

Good day.

A problem has surfaced that I really want to solve, but I can’t even figure out where to dig.

So.
Created vpn connection using Windows. It connects and works for about 5 minutes, after that the ping to the machines inside the corp network stops going. But the VPN connection won't drop. In order to gain access, you again have to disconnect and connect via VPN.

The problem surfaced either after changing the home router (to Linksys E4200) or changing the WiFi adapter to TrendNet 649UB. But I'm not 100% sure of that.

Plz tell me where to dig?

The first step is to eliminate iron problems, that is, take several WiFi adapters in a store with a moneyback and try on them, if it doesn’t work out, the same feint with a router. If dancing with iron does not help, then dig further ... As an option, remove the unused cards remaining there from the hidden devices - go to "Environment Variables" in the system variables, create the variable DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES and assign it a value of 1. Then open the device manager, in the "View" menu turn on the display of hidden devices and remove the hidden disabled network cards.
