Problem with normal CD reading speed. USB 3.0 External Box for Blue-ray Drive and Panasonic UJ-260AF Blue-ray Drive?
Good afternoon.
First of all, I apologize for the format of the post. I am writing on Habr, because the concentration of people from the IT sector (and not only) is the highest here and the chance to get at least some kind of feedback is higher.
We have:
Lenovo X220 (USB 3.0)
External USB 3.0 Blu-ray Box (with two wires: USB 3.0 data cable and additional USB power cable)
Blu-ray drive Panasonic UJ-260AF (aka Matshita BD-MLT UJ260AF)
Specs :
The problem is that when reading\copying from a regular CD-ROM (not CD-R\CD-RW), the speed does not reach the supported 24x, and stays around suspicious 6x-7x.
There are no other disc formats (Blue-ra, DVD-ROM, DVD-R \ DVD-RW) at hand.
I opened the outer box, the following is installed on the adapter:
USB 3.0 controller Initio INIC-3609PL
Flash memory (? software module) pm25ld010 ()
What could be the problem? Thank you in advance.

here in the question it’s not clear where we connect this disk, if in usb2 then there is a speed of 30 mb / s, right there on the screen you can see 69 everything can be the same drive is connected via usb there can play many factors ranging from lack of power on the usb itself to problems with contacts in the drive or the wire itself is shit .. which also often happens
