Problem with hdmi image output in old games?

Good afternoon community!
There are amazing games by Benoit Sokal - Siberia and Siberia 2. There is a Panasonic Viera TV of the first generation. There is an hdmi cable and a bluetooth mouse. There is a great desire to play Siberia, lounging on the sofa two meters from the big TV screen.
The essence of the problem is that when I connect the cable I get a black screen and negative emotions. I tried to put all sorts of different compatibility on exe, it did not help. Is there any way to transfer the image somehow?
Sincerely,
S.N.

Dachshunds ... And before loading the game, the computer is determined? Windows rise?
If so, then most likely the monitor does not support the resolution of the game, this happens.
If not, that is, when loading Windows, a black screen, then check whether the signal is output to the TV. If the desktop computer and the TV are connected as a second monitor, then connect the second monitor in the video adapter settings.
If from a laptop, then switch the picture to the second monitor (usually this is done through the FN + hot keys of something there.) :)

Check your TV manual to see if it supports 800*600 via HDMI. If not, you can try the good old analog output, if there is one (although the quality will not be so hot).

In Linux under Vine, you can run any game in a window, dig around, maybe there is something like that for windows.

In the settings of the firewood of the video card there is a scaling adjustment. In particular, for nVidia video cards, this is called "Adjusting the size and position of the desktop." You can try to see if these settings (in particular, you can configure who, where and how will scale your picture to physical size) will help you scale the video image of the toy to the resolution of the TV set at the video level. Then the TV set will not care at all what you launched there.

Thank you all for your help!
D3D Windower did not help, but it suggested that we need to raise the virtual machine. Installed WMware, upgraded XP and everything worked great! Together with a normally working zoom and a bluetooth mouse, a couple of pleasant evenings are provided)
Sincerely,
S.N.
