VLC. Why is the image flickering?

AXIS Linux mint 18.3
The image blinks when watching movies, but only in the VLC player, everything is fine in SMplayer.
What could be the reason?
On the same machine, but in the screw and in the same VLC, everything is normal.

Try to go in and select the options in "Tools->Settings->Video->Output"
