What tasks does AI solve? The examples that have already been squeezed out of Habr demonstrate the power of GA, ANN, etc., but not practice. Other examples, such as olympiads, offer one single application - the decision to issue a loan, I think everyone has heard this example, there are no others to be found.
The most intractable tasks were found, they are unlikely to be suitable for training or developing a new implementation of AI. They are popular because no one can decide completely. These are all some too complex tasks that cannot be tested without the power of IBM Watson. With such tasks, the progress of the system will be imperceptible and I will not be able to find the right concept. It seems that with such tasks, the implementation needs to be selected theoretically and agreed with colleagues or tested on easier tasks. Is there something simpler so that I can implement and test my AI concept on a regular PC (4x2GHz CPU, 2GB RAM, NVidia GeForce GT-8800 GPU)?
