Is it possible to fully work on a laptop?
Hello.
I would like to know the opinion of people, is it possible to fully work on a laptop (15.6), and if so, in what direction?
Let's say I'm working - I have 2 huge monitors and sometimes it's not enough (I have to switch and twitch). How do you deal with it?

In my understanding, a laptop is a machine for working with text in the broadest sense of the word: documents, correspondence, instant messengers, reading articles, and so on and so forth.
I don’t even know how to draw, draw or design on a laptop ... it’s like sleeping on a stool - sometimes you can get along if necessary, but only a masochist can do this all the time.
I can't work on small screens - there is very little space, even the browser with ide cannot be opened at the same time
17'' laptop installed Linux with Kde and switch to 4 different desktops if needed just by pressing keys. I'm comfortable. You can pick up and go, grab a laptop with you. Count the work in the bag always
connect, if necessary, external monitors, keyboard and mouse = and full speed ahead
just do not forget about the proper organization of the workplace and the absence of food / drinks nearby
No problem.
I worked at 13″ for a couple of years - there were no problems either.
backend.
It's simple:
If your work speed (working convenience - in the same place) does not increase when working with a regular PC, then this laptop is FOR YOU! enough to do a full job.
Next - just watch your eyesight.
Otherwise, the answer is obvious!)
programming is possible,
but the site design will be bad, for example, there are laptops with large screens,
although I have not seen a single site that would look the same on my monoblock (1920) and on my laptop (1368)
It's not the first year I've been developing under 1C on an 11 '' laptop. The flight is normal.
even on a very large laptop, the screen is too low. I have to curl up, my back hurts, my neck hurts, etc. with an external monitor at a comfortable height - everything is ok.
15.4 MacBook Pro. Backend, sometimes a bit of design, frontend, photo and video processing, video editing. There is enough power and screen size / resolution for everything. This is a matter of habit, not a question of possibility/impossibility. I used to work on a stationary PC with a large monitor, I tried 2 monitors - it didn’t work, I got tired of turning my head. Easier to switch between virtual desktops. The transition period from desktop to laptop took 2 weeks maximum.
