Posting to an HTML page via email as a CMS replacement?
Good afternoon.
I would like to know how realistic it will be to use mail as a replacement for CMS for posting on a simple one-page blog (1 html page with post content + post pages). In VP and other CMS there is a convenient function for posting via mail, where the subject of the letter becomes the heading, and the text of the letter becomes the text of the post. Is there a ready-made script (maybe in Perl) that works this way? And how to protect the site in this case from unwanted posts, any spam?
Thanks in advance!

well, you can write on your knee in a few hours, write the password in the letter.
so in the same VP, not just a mail address, but a SECRET mail address.
there are such things in Yandex, for example, a letter sent to [email protected] will still come to my mailbox [email protected] But since I know what tag should be there - I specifically make rules for it.
And even more so if you have pdd.yandex or google.apps, or what your decision is - you can also make a special address there - and no one will know where to send spam.
Take a look at jekyllrb.com, maybe this solution will be just right for you.
