Posterous, to be or not to be - that is the question?

In light of the news about the purchase of posterous by twitter, I don’t even know whether to be upset or happy. More information about this can be found in the habrotopic . It says that so far the fate of Posterous itself is unknown, but, apparently, the service will be closed.
At the same time, the company's official blog says:
Posterous Spaces will remain up and running without disruption. We'll give users ample notice if we make any changes to the service. For users who would like to back up their content or move to another service, we'll share clear instructions for doing so in the coming weeks.
Free translation:
Posterous continues to operate without interruption. We will inform users in case of any changes in our service. For those users who want to back up their content or move to another blogging platform, we will write clear instructions in the coming weeks.
What do you think, dear habrosobshchestvo, will twitter close posterous or will everything remain unchanged?

@charon

I don't think it will close. They do not compete directly. But the development will be suspended, because it will take the best programmers for itself.
