Position for greater autonomy and expertise? Data analyst?

Hello dear users!

At the moment I have experience in system analytics for about 6 years. I came to the point of crisis in my attitude to my work.

In practice, job responsibilities come down to frequent communications, several iterations of clarifications and approvals. My opinion: only a logical mindset is enough to work such a job; I'm just looking for answers. It would seem that this is good - a minimum of costs for studying current technologies, etc. But I want a different feeling from work.

And here's what you want:

  1. be able to work without being tied to the schedule of others; this is possible if the answers to most questions can be found by yourself; probably most freelance positions meet this criterion;
  2. actually: to be able to solve most of the issues on the way to the result yourself. without involving others; for this, apparently, you need to become an expert in some area;

The description of the criteria is somewhat similar to the so-called flow activity, when you can perform feasible tasks, gradually approaching the result. I experienced a similar state when writing analytics for new services and systems - a minimum of restrictions and approvals, so 80% of the time I created, invented, built a logical picture of the process (starting from the database and ending with call / response formats), and the remaining 20% of the time - could receive offline responses from a limited set of people, on the basis of which (answers) - made final changes to the process. Specific example: create an api and a database to store information about a new kind of product.

Perhaps the solution to my need lies in being an analyst only on new projects - implementing systems from scratch.
Or the second option: change of grade - to be an experienced junior in order to solve work tasks by asking a minimum of questions offline.

I also see another option: for some reason it seems to me that reporting, data-analytics is a sphere. where it is possible, working with a limited set of information, a limited set of tools, to get a specific result, answers to questions on your own. Those. do not wait for answers to questions from colleagues, but receive answers based on real data. Those. I'm not inventing anything - all questions are answered by data. Maybe I'm looking for more confidence in the results. Data analysts have one of the highest job satisfactions.
Although probably - in any field you can work independently - design, development, etc. Or is someone more autonomous?

Maybe I need a mentor. I would like to have access to constant clear feedback.
In general, it is difficult to get out of the feeling that I am doing something non-specific, and this is called work. I would like it more clearly: the task - the process of independent work - the result.
Of the tasks that I like: data mapping (for example, to match the api response format with the database structure); description of objects / systems from scratch (with the imposition of a minimum of restrictions); to be an assistant (this does not contradict the fact that you want to work on your own; the feeling that you are helping someone gives confidence in the result; I mean helping someone who knows how it should be, but delegates part of the work).
I can communicate with people. I don’t like the state of “learn a little incomprehensible something from whom it is not clear”.
It seems I need an IT psychologist, are there such people? :)
Thanks in advance to everyone who read this question to the end.

yes, all your thoughts are complete crap. and does not depend on the office you work or freelance.
in fact, everything depends only on your ability to position / present yourself, and the ability to use it. and of course - to give results.
if you give a result, no one gives a fuck where and how you swim.
and if you can’t, then even under control you will have questions.
and it does not depend on your position / position / area.
