Tell me, is it possible to leave a link to your portfolio site in your upwork profile, and also attach a link to my site in applications to clients? Wouldn't that be a violation?

I include links to my website in every email. True, I have a website without contact information, only examples of work. I was not banned for this and never had any complaints

Read ToS.
If there is no contact information on the site, then you can.
But I prefer to give a link at the submission stage.
And in Upwork's portfolio he added a dozen of the best works and that's it.
