Pnetlab or eveng?

Good afternoon. I couldn't really find any information about pnetlab other than the one on the pnetlab site, and an abusive post on eva's forum with accusations of plagiarism and other mortal sins. What kind of animal is this, does it have any advantages over Eve?

I have a workstation: XEON E5-2628L (8 cores 16 threads) - 2 pcs
64 Gb
Raid 0 RAM - two virtual disks of 1Tv
64 Gb swap each.
So I did an experiment. On one VD was installed PNETlab and on the other EVE-NG community.
The goal is to see the limiting capabilities of both systems. Juniper vmx-14.1R4.8 image booted.
Result.
PnetLab downloaded about 60 images and gave an error like RAM more than 75% occupied.
The EVE-NG community has uploaded 128 images (despite only 64 according to the documentation for the community).
After 30 images, I included 5 pcs. Both systems groaned but booted up to the password requirement. Swap for both systems was occupied by about 2-3%.
Screenshots of all situations are saved. But in principle, they are needed for confirmation, if someone does not believe. Everything else is amateur. I did not like Docker, especially the terminal. I use SecureCRT, it's convenient for me. Enabling several labs at the same time is very good, but I draw everything on one lab and can include what I need.
Therefore, for a single user, I do not see big differences.
