Please rate the assembly of the PC, I want to get your criticism and opinions?
Now I'm working on a laptop, it's almost 8 years old. I plan to assemble a PC for NOT A LESS term (from 8 years). The main goal of the PC is to be fast in various tasks (but there is no particular direction). And fast not a year or two, but 8-10 years.
I myself do web development. It is not very demanding on components, so I see no reason to make an assembly bias specifically for it. And the computer is not only going to work. There will be other tasks as well.
Here is the build.
Ryzen 5 3600
processor .
- The web is mostly single-threaded. But there will be other challenges as well. This processor has a good frequency per core. And there are a lot of cores. And he's not very old either.
RAM
Kingston HyperX FURY Black [HX432C16FB3K2/32] 32 GB
- It has good reviews, it is RELATIVELY inexpensive and runs on 3200. The only negative is that it does not accelerate well. But 3200 is not bad. It seems that this is just more or less optimal frequency for AMD (I heard that AMD is more demanding on the frequency of RAM than Intel). The processor just works at 3200.
32, not 16, since I will work with virtual machines. The site will run on a server with a server OS. And many development programs are available only on Windows, for example, Photoshop (for layout). Yes, there is Figma, but some designers still use Photoshop.
SSD
500GB SSD M.2 Drive Samsung 970 EVO Plus [MZ-V7S500BW]
is a bestseller. The speed is good. And the reviews are very reliable.
I also have a 2 TB HDD for various junk, but I don’t see the point in writing about it here.
CPU
cooler DEEPCOOL GAMMAXX 300
- I'll probably take 400. It's not much more expensive. To be able to overclock the processor. Although I read that my processor is not particularly chasing.
Case
Any up to 1500. With the ability to install coolers. At least 4. On the mat. board 4 connectors - let them be involved. I won't be buying coolers right away, but it's better to be able to supply them than not to have one. The lower the temperature of the PC, the longer the components will last.
I think this one: DEXP DC-101B.
Mat.
MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX board
is a bestseller.
I have never overclocked anything, but I think that after a while I will try to overclock the processor and RAM a little (When the performance is not enough. I take a PC for a long time). I read the reviews, they say that this board has a convenient bios and a good VRM - there will be no difficulties during overclocking and use in general. Max. RAM frequency - 4133, in my opinion, this is very good.
The RAM that I chose is not particularly chasing, but maybe later I will buy two more bars that can be overclocked. The fee allows.
Format - ATX, the most common.
BP:
be quiet! System Power 9 700W
- He has a lot of reviews, he is popular. A bad product cannot become so popular. Yes, and according to W for my assembly, it will be enough with a margin. I see no reason to overpay for a cooler PSU.
Video card:
RADEON RX 550 AERO ITX 4G OC
- I DON'T BUY IT, I already have it. I don’t really play games, I don’t work with 3D, I don’t do video editing (if I do it, it’s rare), so it should be enough for me. Maybe later I'll buy a better one so that sometimes I can play a little video games, relax. Therefore, I take a 700W PSU.
